A funeral is used to mark the end of a person's life here on earth.
Family and friends come together to express grief, give thanks for the life lived and commend the person into God's keeping. These can be a small, quiet ceremony or a large occasion in a packed church. Everyone is entitled to a burial service (funeral) by their local parish priest regardless of whether they attended church or not.
We aim to make sure that funerals in the St J's Group are helpful and beneficial to you in coming to terms with the loss of a loved one and dealing with the mourning process.
If you are organising a funeral you should firstly get in a contact with a Funeral Director who will then liaise with us to book the church of your choice and arrange all the details. We work closely with Funeral Directors from across the area to put together our funeral services.
